These artists-in-residence are all at home here at Le Piano, as their performances have helped shape our very special brand. This ensemble of impeccable talent, presents stylistically, seamless renders of jazz classics and music for the soul. Williams is a master arranger and composer and tonight's performance will carry those influences.

Solomon Lindenberg is a pianist, composer, improvisor and educator originally from Door County, WI and currently based in Chicago, IL. Solomon can be seen and heard playing in groups around Chicago and the greater midwest including his own trio, the progressive quartet “Folkus,” which he co-leads, as well as with a range of other musicians including Ernest “Khabeer” Dawkins, Ted Sirota, Dustin Laurenzi, Christian Dillingham, Matt Ulery, Katie Ernst and more. He has performed at some of the great midwest jazz venues including the Jazz Showcase, Green Mill Cocktail Lounge, Hungry Brain, Jazz Estate, Berlin, Merriman’s Playhouse and Epiphany Center for the Arts. While mainly an exponent of the jazz tradition, he is also largely influenced by European classical, gospel, folk, rock and avant-garde music, and seeks to weave stories with his playing that incorporates the traditions of the vast range of music he loves.

Jack W. Ellis is excited to debut their new show “Antiquated” at Le Piano! “Antiquated” has everything old fashioned and schmaltzy you could possibly imagine; Tin Pan Alley style showtunes, torchy ballads, swing standards, opera, and of course a meticulously put together outfit or two. The show also features Quinn Brann on piano, alongside a wonderful lineup of special guest stars. If you’re fond of folderol and frivolities, than Antiquated is the show for you!
Tickets are 25$, with a ten dollar food and drink minimum.
