SHANNON WRIGHT Returns to the Stage for a Sunday Spotlight You Won’t Want to Miss Chicago audiences are in for a powerful and unforgettable afternoon as Shannon returns to the stage for a special Sunday Spotlight performance at Le Piano. A true force of nature, Shannon is a Chicago-based multi-disciplinary artist whose voice, presence, and story command attention wherever she performs. Radiating warmth, elegance, and unmistakable charisma, she brings a luminous energy to the stage that captivates audiences from the very first note. Rooted in Southern gospel tradition and shaped by the soulful sophistication of jazz, Shannon’s seasoned vocals glide effortlessly through sultry tones, heartfelt emotion, and a smooth neo-soul flow. Her posh performances are rich with nuance, storytelling, and improvisational spirit—creating a musical experience that is both intimate and electrifying. Shannon is the Founder and lead vocalist of her new Flagship Orchestra, RÖYAL, opening this summer. Known for her impeccable style, magnetic showmanship, and deeply moving performances, Shannon sings with authenticity, empathy, and a purity of heart that resonates long after the final note. This Sunday Spotlight also marks a meaningful homecoming for Shannon. During the pandemic, she pivoted in an extraordinary way—taking to the open road as a professional semi-truck driver, traveling across the country while the world paused. At the same time, the beloved owner of LePiano, the late Mr. Chad Willets, transformed the restaurant into a mask-making factory to support the community. Before his passing, Chad told Shannon she would always be welcomed back to sing at LePiano whenever she returned from the road. This Sunday Spotlight performance is Shannon’s heartfelt fulfillment of that promise—a tribute, a homecoming, and a triumphant return to the stage. An evening of soul. A celebration of resilience. And a performance you won’t want to miss. 4PM - 6PM $15
